Midnight blue
A translucent external satin coating gives the cylinder depth with broad, soft reflections. The sheen is developed in the coating, without an acid-etching step.
DESIGN STUDY · DG-002
A cylindrical silhouette with deep midnight colour and a restrained silver accent. Cool-white typography gives the front a clear focal point; the satin metal cap completes the vertical composition.

DESIGN DIRECTION
Vesper 02 uses the continuous curve of a cylindrical bottle to carry a soft field of blue. A small silver crescent catches the light above a spaced wordmark. Keeping the artwork within a narrow front sector preserves legibility and avoids the complexity of a full-wrap design. The uncoated heel introduces a clear glass edge beneath the colour.
A translucent external satin coating gives the cylinder depth with broad, soft reflections. The sheen is developed in the coating, without an acid-etching step.
One organic screen-print colour carries the wordmark, number and supporting text. Its opacity is checked over the dark blue finish.
A silver hot-foil crescent is coordinated with a brushed aluminium cap and silver-tone collar. Physical samples establish the relationship between these surfaces.
BOTTLE & COMPONENTS
The Minimal Cylinder Atomizer in Products provides the silhouette reference. Develop Vesper 02 around a selected cylindrical bottle, a dedicated print fixture and a coordinated silver closure. Confirm capacity and neck finish from the actual component drawings.

PROPOSED DECORATION ROUTE
The sequence below is the development route for this design. Coating, ink, foil and curing conditions must be qualified together on the selected bottle before production.
Check bottle diameter, roundness and mould seams. Set a repeatable axial and angular datum in the fixture so the crescent and lettering register consistently.
Approve the artwork on a cylindrical proof, including viewing angle and usable print height.
Use a cleaning process compatible with the lacquer. Mask the mouth, sealing surfaces and lower clear heel; keep coating out of the bottle interior.
Confirm the mask line and that the bottle seats consistently in the fixture.
Spray a compatible translucent navy coating with controlled rotation. Balance coverage and sheen around the circumference; cure to the supplier’s validated schedule.
Approve transparency, satin level and circumferential uniformity on physical samples.
Use a cylindrical screen-print setup with compatible organic white ink. Control rotation and screen travel together; qualify ink cure against the coating underneath.
Inspect opacity, character edges and registration from the intended front viewing position.
Keep the motif compact on the curved front. Qualify a shaped or compliant stamping tool and a foil system compatible with the lacquer, adding a suitable primer or adhesive where needed.
Validate full transfer, clean edges, adhesion and the absence of pressure marks on the satin surface.
Develop the brushed aluminium shell, select the insert and compare the collar and cap finishes together. Test the assembly with the selected pump and intended fragrance.
Approve cap retention, spray function, leakage results and appearance before production.
SAMPLING & APPROVAL
Review the blue finish around the whole cylinder, not only the front. Approve the clear-heel boundary, silver accents and filled appearance against physical master samples under agreed lighting.
Agree adhesion, rub and scratch checks for the satin coating, white ink and foil. Include fragrance exposure and handling marks, with project-specific methods and acceptance criteria.
Validate bottle, pump, cap and insert as one system. Select protective packing that separates decorated surfaces, then agree leak, retention and transit checks.
Share your fragrance positioning, preferred bottle size, artwork and target quantity. We will review a suitable bottle and decoration route for your brief.
