Deep plum
Translucent external lacquer across the visible glass and heel, with enough light transmission to reveal the edges.
DESIGN STUDY · DG-011
A thin gold frame draws the eye to the flat front. Above it, the exposed metal atomizer and black woven bulb introduce a tactile ritual, with the tassel kept alongside the bottle.

DESIGN DIRECTION
Velours 11 combines a restrained rectangular body with an expressive dispensing assembly. The V, double-line frame and inscriptions form one metallic artwork. The bulb and tassel need their own clearance and support in the finished pack.

A pale metallic ink for the front design, coordinated with the atomizer fittings.
A woven bulb cover and tassel that contrast with the polished glass.
BOTTLE & COMPONENTS
The Vintage Bulb Atomizer provides the body and dispensing reference. Select the bulb, valve, nozzle, dip tube and neck connection together; establish the storage and shipping closure before sampling.

PROPOSED DECORATION ROUTE
A bulb assembly needs its own functional and packing review. Assess the selected components rather than assuming a conventional pump specification.
Review the neck, bulb coupling, nozzle and shipping closure with the glass drawing.
Approve component fit and transport configuration.
Clean the exterior, mask functional surfaces and apply translucent plum lacquer.
Check colour and cure on actual glass.
Screen print the V, double border and lettering in a compatible metallic ink.
Inspect frame alignment, coverage and fine lines.
Assemble the valve, dip tube and bulb without twisting the coupling or textile.
Check priming, spray direction and connection security.
Keep the textile away from the spray path and support it separately in the insert.
Check clearance, shedding and contact with the bottle.
Assess filled samples with the agreed closure and packing configuration.
Check leakage, mass loss and performance after transport trials.
SAMPLING & APPROVAL
Assess wetted-material compatibility and spray behaviour using the intended formulation.
Set agreed leakage and mass-loss checks in the specified storage orientation and shipping configuration.
Test rubbing, staining and fibre shedding; ensure the bulb is not compressed by the pack.
Coordinate plum glass, gold decoration and the textile atomizer as one packaging system.
