Obsidienne 12 Charcoal & Silver

A thick clear base anchors the dark rectangular body. The white O and long wordmark sit inside the flat face, while the smoked transparent dome reveals a restrained silver interior.

DESIGN DIRECTION

Set dark glass against a clear foundation.

Obsidienne 12 uses contrast rather than a printed border. The charcoal coating should retain glass depth, and the warm-white typography must stay opaque enough to read. A defined mask line preserves the uncoated heel.

Smoky charcoal

Transparent exterior lacquer on the body; avoid making the glass read as an opaque black block.

Warm white

One opaque ink for the O, full name, fragrance type and capacity.

Brushed silver

A satin collar and visible inner fitting beneath the smoke-grey transparent dome.

BOTTLE & COMPONENTS

Resolve the heel line and smoked dome.

The Clear Block Perfume Bottle supplies the body and hemispherical cap direction. Confirm the clear heel height, flat printing land and transparent cap material before selecting the decoration system.

Block geometry
Broad flat front, bevelled edges and thick heel. Confirm nominal fill and neck finish before approving the 100 ml text.
Print contrast
Warm-white screen ink on cured charcoal lacquer; qualify opacity without filling fine letter counters.
Mask line
Keep the heel, mouth and sealing land clear. Set a repeatable horizontal coating boundary.
Smoked cap
Transparent grey dome with a fitted insert and silver collar; test tint uniformity and assembly stress.

PROPOSED DECORATION ROUTE

Control dark colour without losing transparency.

Approve the lacquer depth and white ink on the actual glass, then match the transparent dome under the same light.

    Size the typography

    Fit the long wordmark and small inscriptions within the flat face.

    Approve letter spacing and bevel clearances.

    Mask the clear areas

    Clean the exterior and protect the heel, mouth and sealing surfaces.

    Check the level and continuity of the mask line.

    Apply charcoal lacquer

    Build an even transparent exterior coat and cure to the qualified schedule.

    Compare transmitted light at centre and corners.

    Print warm white

    Screen print the O and wording using an ink compatible with the cured coating.

    Check opacity, fine counters and adhesion.

    Match the smoked dome

    Qualify the transparent tint and assemble the insert with the silver collar.

    Inspect haze, stress marks and actuator clearance.

    Assemble and protect

    Fit the pump and support the heavy heel without rubbing the coated body.

SAMPLING & APPROVAL

Approve the appearance. Validate the complete pack.

Charcoal and clear boundary

Inspect the mask edge and colour depth under diffuse and directional light.

White lettering

Test rubbing and fragrance exposure; ensure the full wordmark and capacity remain legible.

Dome and heavy base

Review cap clarity and repeated fitting, standing stability and transport support.
